Summer Reading Program

Theme: Game On!

This summer, let’s gather together to cheer each other on as we achieve our personal best. We can play on a team, knowing we’re better together, or play on our own to see how far we can go. We’ll learn about our world, ourselves and each other through play and if we stumble along the way, we’ll get up laughing and keep on trying, because failing is sometimes part of the game.

Whether we’re playing in the library, online, around a table or in a field, independently or on a team, we’ll stretch our physical and mental limits and give it our best, for the love of the game.

The Program will run from Tuesday, July 7 to Friday, August 14, 2020.

Registration will open on June 6, 2020 at 10:00am

Frequently Asked SRP Questions
Q. What if we go on holidays in the summer?  Can my child still participate?
A. Yes!  We understand that summertime is when families often take holidays.  If you are going to be away, please let our coordinators know in advance so they can plan accordingly.

Q. Your program is full.  Can I put my child on a waiting list?
A. Yes.  If we receive a significant amount of entries on the waiting list, we may open up another session.  However, we cannot guarantee this.

Q. I have children of different ages.  Can I put them into the same session?
A. Each session is tailored to a specific age group and moving a child into a group older/younger than their age will affect the summer reading experience for all the children in the group. As per our registration guide, children who are placed in the incorrect group will not be permitted to participate.

Q. Can my child still participate if they are not in the weekly program?
A. Absolutely!  Simply stop by the library, pick up your TD  Summer Reading Club passport and collect reading challenge stickers all summer long. There will be some great prizes for this program too!
