About the Instructor

The Strathmore Municipal Library would like to send a big thank you to local author, Christina Hatton-Fearnley for bringing this exciting opportunity to our library and the tweens and teens of our community!

Christina Hatton-Fearnley resides in Wheatland County AB, where she spends her days photographing local families, writing stories, and spending time with her farm animals! She has self-published two children's books and currently writing a third. Connecting with her local community is a passion of hers, and she is excited to partner with the Strathmore library in mentoring children and youth.

Check out Christina's books!

The Lost Photograph

When Rosie discovers she lost her Mom's precious photo, she starts to imagine the worst. Will she find the photo in time before her Mom realizes it's gone?

Kevin the Pack Goat

Readers will follow Kevin on his journey.  Kevin is bored with farm life and wonders where the farmer goes every day, so we see where his curiosity and his sense of adventure will take him.
